As often heard, Mayon Volcano became one of my most dreamed places to visit. My dream was: to have a photo from the Cagsawa Ruins with the Mayon Volcano behind me… Given a DSLR was with me (luckily though), it was a way dream come true.

So, I took a jeepney to Cagsawa and paid 7 pesos…

From the jump off area was about half a kilometer before I reached the Cagsawa Church which is now a ruins due to a vast volcano eruption in 19__.

I was there at Cagsawa around 8 o’clock in the morning ( I should have come earlier than that) The peak of the mountain is already covered with the thick clouds. Nonetheless, I still got what I wanted. So after then, to my selfish ambition, I looked for that “spot” where an acquaintance held their “prenup” photos!? So I got there. In every corner of that place I took a snapshot of myself. Afterwards, I satisfied myself with a promise of a sort of “closure”. Whatever it is…it’s personal and silly of me. Hehehe.

The heat of the sun started to hurt a little so I just had a short walk around the souvenir shops. If only I could bring some of these stuffs home or sell them. I never had any room for souvenirs in my backpack. Having no plans to go home yet, I just took photos of some interesting items on their displays.

So, on my way back to Legaspi City, I just took the same route. That same day, I head off to a next destination and left Legaspi and Cagsawa behind.
