And I got weary in Legaspi. “Hopefully Sorsogon makes a little different ambiance”, I told myself. I had a friend that I had not seen for over 10 years. I’ve heard they’re just around Irosin… So I took chances of maybe reuniting with them.

So it was almost like a dilemma but my feet took me to the bus station in Legaspi. I was really heading to Sorsogon. Before I knew it, the bus had already moved forward. There is no question how enjoyable it was riding on a non-aircon bus and it was daytime. A soft, fresh air kisses my face once again. This is what I love about Bicol. It’s almost like home: green rice fields, countryside, and simple life.

Yet, after that short reflection, that 3 hour lovely bus ride had come to an end. I arrived on the front of the pedestal of the town of Irosin, standing proudly before me. It was then a small town with a small market, just like our market in Sibuyan. In a little while, I was at my friend’s home whom hosted me for 2 days. Yay!!!
