Sea Breeze Inn is Famous in San Fernando town, Sibuyan Island, Romblon, this resort is where the tricycle drivers and the locals would usually take any stranger who’s searching for a place to stay overnight around the town. Located in the coastal area of San Fernando’s proud beach, neither any typhoon nor huge waves could force her to fall.
Sea Breeze Inn is Owned and meticulously managed by a retired teacher Etta Fabreo, a warm and young at heart lady in her early 80’s. Her native Nippa Hut will never disappoint you. Its veranda facing the ocean, gives a real cool seabreeze to relax your tensions. The golden horizon during late in the afternoon is worth to watch together with its marvelous sunset which stands as a main event for a lovely afternoon. Preferably, rooms with windows facing the mountains gives a fresh mountain breeze.
The Rooms at Sea Breeze Inn are made up of native materials as well. Starting from the lampshade made up of “nito” down to its cozy wooden bed, nevertheless will give a sort of a good sleep because of the homey atmosphere. Beds and pillows are soft like cotton. The beddings and pillow cases are clean and are sundried, which gives it a distinctive fragrance and smoothness.
The owner is also a good cook. Mostly she serve big slices of fresh tuna and Lapu-lapu. Local foods are on the top of the list but she can also cook food based upon guest’s request. Staying in this hostel will let you experience its unique ambiance and experience the Filipino culture and hospitality.
How to get to Sea Breeze Inn:
Just ask the driver about this place and he’d take you right in front of its gate. It’s almost 25 meters West of Central Elementary School.
P600/ day, good for 2 persons. Being on shared bathroom will still be fine with the rate of 600 pesos per day. Towels and toiletries are not provided. Air-conditioned rooms are also available. But a good suggestion is to just let the fresh air come in. 🙂
